Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, and brown sugar. Stir together until blended, then pour in melted butter and mix until coated.
- Spread the pretzel mixture evenly on the baking sheet, bake for 8–10 minutes until golden, and let cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth, then gently fold in Cool Whip and chill.
- Just before serving, fold in sliced strawberries and half of the cooled pretzel crunch. Reserve remaining crunch for topping.
