  • 8 oz Burrata Cheese let it reach room temperature
  • 2-3 tbsp Olive Oil extra virgin for best flavor
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil torn or chopped

  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes for a spicy kick
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Tomato Burrata Pasta
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook your favorite pasta shape according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes for al dente.
  2. While the pasta cooks, rinse and chop the tomatoes and mince the garlic.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  4. Drain the pasta and reserve a cup of water. Transfer the pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce.
  5. Tear burrata into pieces and fold into the pasta. Add fresh basil and red pepper flakes, tossing gently.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
